Being based in a rather remote location, we attend shows to enable interested breeders to view our animals in a convenient location.  We also enjoy the interaction with fellow breeders and interested public.  We take pride in presenting our animals to the best of our ability and allowing them to express their full genetic potential.  Although we feed up our show animals and protect them from the harsh summer paddock conditions in preparation for the show ring, it is only these few animals that receive this special attention and those that do must have first proven that they are able to grow and thrive in the paddock.  Every kid born at Mallee Park learns to graze in the paddock with its mother, goats are run on pastures and stubbles all year round, with grain or hay supplements provided in late summer after paddock feed has diminished.
