Poll Dorset flock rams are available from early October to early November each year, small numbers of rams may also be available outside this time.  We aim to provide quality rams to our commercial clients and work in closely with them to select the rams that are right for their production system.  Rams are usually sold in conjunction with rams from our sister stud Maramba, owned by Brian and Kerrin Hurley, Tarrington.  As stud breeders as well as prime lamb producers we understand the requirements of our clients and do all that we can to assist them.  We realise the importance of across flock evaluation and performance data and provide Lambplan data on all of our sale rams.  The 2009 sale rams have mostly been sold to old and new clients, there are few remaining

The 2009 drop of rams are looking good, recent fat and muscle scanning has revealed pleasing results with PEMD values as high as +3.9mm.  A full list of ASBVs on the 2009 drop as well as sires, ewes and ewe lambs at Mallee Park is available here.
